My New Friend, Ericdress.

For the past few years, i'd been busy at work and now I'm a stay at home... drumroll please... WIFE!! Yeaayyyyy...

Ok, I'll tell all about it later. Now let's talk fashion! Yup, I haven't been touching that subject for a year! Lately, I almost like a caveman doing nothing but cuddling with my hubby and travelling. Oh well you know, newlyweds... ;p But I still randomly reading some fashion news and what's the trend this season. After all I still excited when my favourite season come on fashion week. Fall/Winter baby, yeah!!

Indonesia only have two seasons, unfortunately. Because I love layering my clothes with jackets or knitwear and then pair it with a great shoes. I always think it's one of the easiest way to make a bold fashion statement. Before kicking off fall winter 2015 in just few days, these are some of my favourite fall trend in 2014.

Cape/Poncho

Pastel

Robe

Aren't they all gorgeous??

I rarely buy designer items when it comes to clothing. Because I get bored easily, the trend comes and goes just like that plus it's quite expensive and I rather spend the money on travelling. So what I normally do is just find the substitute in similar cuts, model, or even colour. That way I won't break my wallet. And I stumble upon www.ericdress.com and just went cray!! I browse through the site and found heaven here, http://www.ericdress.com/list/cheap-coats-101899/ and it's full of any kind style, colour, material, cutting, anything, you name it! They got it all.

These are my picks that's on trend and crazy low prices!

Aspects of Life According to Sapto Djojokartiko

Have you ever had a goosebumps when you see something so beautiful you just practically blown away? That's exactly what I felt every time Sapto Djojokartiko showcases his designs, especially when I saw his latest Spring Summer 2013 collection during Dewi Fashion Knights last November 2012.

Inspired by Vastu Vidya, an architectural concept with the philosophy that architecture is not just any architecture but it is also created to give linear alignment to every aspects of life. Sapto had successfully translated Vastu Vidya belief into a mind blowing designs. The difficult beadings and laser cut out details were influenced by reliefs, textures, and sculpture commonly found on dwelling created based on the Vastu Vidya belief.

With the use of ivory, silver, and black as the main color in the collection, Sapto has managed to bring out truly "every aspects of life" as one beautiful combination. The collection has everything a woman wants. It's sexy, beautiful, elegant, mysterious, but also versatile at the same time. Mr. Sapto Djojokartiko never fails to mesmerize my eyes and captured my heart and of course every fashion fanatics'. I personally love the laser cut cocktail dress and oversized blazer. And oh talk about those beautiful crowns! It just a perfect little details to be add on his entire collection.

Check out the complete version of his Vastu Vidya collection during Dewi Fashion Knight on Sapto's official Facebook page and click here to get to know him much more and a closer look to his breath taking previous collections.

The Power of Blair Waldorf

Remember way back when Blair were ruling Constance with her headbands as her signature must have items? Every girl in Manhattan wanted to be her. Not just her power with excellent scheming ability, they also looked up to B sense of style. B was a trend setter with her daring school girl look which became one of fashion phenomenons of the century.

For some designers, making a school girl look as a high fashion collection and to be dominant among other designers can be quite difficult. While I browsed the internet for some fashion editorial inspiration, there it is an amazing complete and perfect collection of school girl style going top notch. It was G.V.G.V Fall Winter 2011. Enough said. Just check out the collection and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

The collection fabulously genius! Who would think that plaid in various color and animal print would be a perfect match?! Even those leather skirts and top and HAT are unbelievable wow factor. I DIE for this collection. BRAVO!!

S.H.O.E.G.A.S.M.

As you all know, I have been a huge fan and collectors of Melissa plastic dreams. So far I have added four pairs onto my Melissa collection earlier this month. But still my heart and soul don't feel complete if I haven't got my hands on these Melissa X Jean Paul Gaultier heels and Melissa X Vivienne Westwood Lady Dragon Love Heart in white. If you guys know where to buy these on a reasonable price, please let me know.

Then again, I recently came across an exciting news Mr. Karl Lagerfeld has agreed to join forces and collaborate with Melissa for the upcoming four seasons. The first seasons of Melissa X Karl Lagerfeld will be (hopefully) launched on March 2013. Just in time for Fall Winter 2013. I have to have at least one of his designs for Melissa!!

Enough of daydreaming about Melissa today.

Next, let's talk about Staccato, a UK brand that offers a wide range of fresh and playful themed footwear for the youngsters. For Fall Winter 2012, Staccato teamed up with Ground Zero to make a striking and bold collection this season.

Out of all the shoes I own, believe it or not, I don't have a single pair of classic pumps! For me shoes it's like an unique piece of art. It's gotta make a statement, bold, outrageous yet beautiful all at once and it seems the fierce pumps of Staccato X Ground Zero simply has it all. Thank God, they launched a perfect pair to buy and that is the blue suede pumps from Staccato X Ground Zero collection. It's definitely one of must buy items this season! Even Cinderella loves 'em. It's a sign people cos Cinderella is my favorite cartoon character!

COLOR-O-MATIC

Holiday season is around the corner and bright colors are the perfect summer staple to wear on a hot sunny days! Jordan Anderson, an emerging fashion designer from Brisbane, Australia, created Elvrik, a menswear line with a bit of a personal edgy touch. Bright colors like yellow and red are some of the colors were used to make his Spring Summer 2013 collection came alive.

The highlights of the collection are the head turning men playsuit. It's simple but rather bold for menswear line and I love it!

I just wish Jordan made it also in perhaps multiple color layers and combination or maybe in velvet material, it would be more perfect and different (well, for me to wear ;p).

As I browsed through my friend's photography blog this morning, I saw one of his works for TOTON, a brand new fashion label from Jakarta. Designed by Toton Januar, his Pre Spring 2013 debut collection was beyond amazing! His designs are beautiful marriage of floral prints, bright colors, futuristic, and perfect touch of old Ming Dynasty from hundreds of thousands years ago. His genius mind has successfully transform those inspirations to an art pieces yet ready to wear collection. Check out the collar with an amazing details and embellishments!

FYI, TOTON Pre Spring 2013 collection was presented at The Brandery Asia @Blue Print 2012, Singapore in front of thousands of international fashion enthusiast.

Stars of The Night

The annual Met Gala 2012 at Metropolitan Museum of Arts, New York was just a week ago. But everyone still talked about who wear what on those prestigious night. Considered as fashion's Academy Award, every single celebrity dressed up to the max and tried to have the most 'to die for' looks in the entire night. I spotted few misses from few celebrities (include Edward Cullen's 'vampire newbie' wife ;p) but also plenty of amazing choices from a lot of celebrities.

Here are some of my favorites so far..

Kate Bosworth in Prada
Feeling 20's? Kate's look is the perfect example of wearing 20's dress without a lot of accessories.

Coco Rocha in vintage Givenchy
Coco is known for having great taste on red carpet 'best dressed worthy' type of dresses until she picked this pink yellow jumpsuit with a matching cropped blazer. No one ever see it coming. But still, I love it!

Emma Stone in Lanvin                         Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada
When others wearing long gowns, Emma and Gwyneth showed us that they wanna have fun in fashion by opted for custom Lanvin cocktail dress and Prada halter mini dress.
Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren
Another celeb who's feeling 20's but only by adding dark plum lipstick to complete her stunning look.

Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe
The dress screams fierceness! At first, I thought Karolina did a huge mistake by wore this to Met Gala. But somehow, the whole look kinda grew in me and it feels like a kind that the legendary model, Iman would wear. I love the turban!

Diane Kruger in Prada
This look is my number one favorite! The effortlessly chic bohemian style made Diane one of the best dressed in my list.

Lily Collins in Valentino Couture
After starred in Snow White, Lily seems couldn't get out from her role. The dress is very pretty yet versatile and suits her very well.

Mia Wasikowska in Prada
Compared to other celebs, this dress wasn't a head turning. But the simplicity, the rich color, the high quality fabric and the beautiful embellishments makes it only could be wore by Mia.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior
Less isn't more but perfection. xoxo, Marion. :)
