Before 2012, Kenzo wasn't exactly the kind of 'highly anticipated' or 'the hottest show' in Paris Fashion Week calendar. After appointed Humbert Leon and Carol Lim, former designer of Opening Ceremony, as Kenzo's newest creative director, replacing Antonio Marras, Kenzo has now become one of the most awaited show alongside Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Leon and Lim's official debut was in Spring Summer 2012 where they gave the collection a breath of fresh air and somehow managed to presents Kenzo's signature atmosphere in a way that nobody couldn't explain. By using white, blue, green and red as the main color, Leon and Lim successfully transformed an athletic sporty style to be a ready to wear pieces with perfect details and amazing designs and prints. It's like there's a New Yorker in every designs their created.

While every fashion insiders still having quite a hard time to believe that Kenzo SS 2012 collection is genius and impeccable than ever before and trying to make sure that it wasn't a 'one hit wonder', Leon and Lim yet gave another spectacular collection in Fall Winter 2012 and convinced everyone who's anyone that Kenzo (is reinvented) deserves to get a major applause and officially being the hottest show to see every season from Paris Fashion Week's crowd.
